Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. In the age of 18, Ladd made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd felt more confident following this win and won 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia gave Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's amateur career. Ladd took her bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via one-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her fight via third-round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She lost by unanimous decision.
